How to Structure a Coaching Conversation

1. Get a list of the issues the client has in mind.
2. Make sure that list is complete.
3. Of the entire list, identify the Number 1 priority.
4. On that priority develop evidence and impact.
5. Summarize along the way.
6. Take each issue in order of priority (if necessary).
7. Explore options.
8. Make a plan how to remove obstacles.
9. Make a plan of action.
10. Request the client to report to you at least once a week.
