If you want to change your life, you must change your desires.
Desires are ultimately deciding the do's and don'ts in our lives.
With your intelligence you may be able to understand the spiritual knowledge, but your intelligence will not be sufficient to redirect or control your desires.
The place where you have to work to change your desires is not the intellect, it is the heart.
