We practice bhakti-yoga with full-hearted
enthusiasm, perseverance, and determination, by following the prescribed duties
in the association of devotees and by engaging completely in activities of
goodness.
We perform our duty avoiding the lower modes of material nature,
without false ego, with great determination and enthusiasm, and without
being shaken by success or failure.
A devotee in Krsna consciousness is always enthusiastic to do his service. He does not worry about the hardship he has to undertake.
He is always enthusiastic. He does not care for success or failure. He is equal
in both happiness and distress.
Vidura is an example of a person who had
left his home enthusiastically, for a better life. Unless one is convinced of a better life after
renunciation of the present life, one cannot stick to the renounced order of
life simply by changing dress or staying outside of his home.
